We were also told to focus on the rule of 3rd while framing using horizontal lines to help use compose the desired shot. We were also shown some examples of different camera angles and how to show how a camera moves on a 2D storyboard, Having learnt this, for our 2nd brief we were asked to create a short storyboard using the title 'The Sock'. The main focus of this brief was to work on the framing of the story while using characters to drive narrative. In my piece i wanted to add a comical effect to the way some of the shots were composed, to do this, i tried to always have the goal of the story in frame, while trying to follow the rule of 3rds. I also tried to use Extreme closeups and pans to try and create Dramatisation.
